We normally don’t’ stay in nice hotels when we travel,  mostly for the fact that we only sleep there, and don’t spend anymore time than that at the place. But for this trip, since we’ll be moving along so much, I figured some nice pads might be a good idea, and could swing it since all the plane tickets were on the house (the house being American Airlines).

Because of our miles and AA being part of the Oneworld Alliance, we get to fly in business class on a bunch of different airlines that belong to the alliance. We are flying Japan Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Royal Jordanian, Malev Hungarian, FinnAir and finally British Airways.

Having the economy in the certain state definitely opened some doors to places that we would’ve never stayed at, but being that we are traveling in March (one of the slowest months of tourist travel) and the value of the dollar (actually rising right now) and the fact that the economy worldwide has slowed a bit, we can take advantage of staying at some cool pads.

Here are the pads that we are resting our heads at:

Vancouver
Tokyo
Beijing
Dubai
Cairo
Athens
Budapest
Helsinki
Copenhagen

Two weeks to go….we almost have all of our gear.
